WELCOME TO
AHIM’SA
Ahim’SA is promoting non-violence, reconciliation and respect for nature and human nature. Ahim’SA works in townships to organise free yoga classes for all, and activities to increase awareness and personal responsibility based on balancing values. By learning how to grow, we learn how to live together. Our activities aim at improving everyone’s life, essentially with the hope to reduce the level of violence in our world.
Our new outdoor season 2021-2022 is starting on Saturday October 23d, Hout Bay Beach, Chapman‘s Peak side, South Africa. Free Yoga classes on Saturdays from 8:00 to 9:00am and on Wednesdays from 8:30 to 9:30am . Bring your own mats if possible.

Principles of Ahim’SA…
Following the principles of Yoga, a teacher must practice Karma Yoga, which represents selfless action for the benefit of others. Thus each practitioner or Yoga Teacher must work for the community and without benefiting from it personally.
In addition, every teacher or practitioner of yoga must respect the fundamental principles called Yamas and Nyamas whose first commandment concerns Ahim’SA which means “Non-Violence” in Sanskrit and more generally, respect for life.
